Hi, I am a second-year Ph.D. student in the department of Computer Science at Florida State University. Currently, I am working as a research assistant in the Computer Architecture and SysTems Research Laboratory (CASTL), founded and led by my major advisor Dr. Weikuan Yu.
Before joining FSU, I received my BSc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology(BUET). I worked in the industry for about three years and then decided to pursue my Ph.D. degree here at FSU from 2016.

Implemented a custom logger for the shuffle phase of Apache Spark. This gives us the ability to take a closer look at the various important metrics of the shuffle phase and have a deeper understanding of the performance trend of different shuffle mechanisms.
I am working on designing and implementing a dynamic push-pull mechanism for the shuffle phase of Apache Spark.
I am working on the evaluation and comparison of BeeGFS/BeeOND and Lustre file systems for different types of application workloads.
