CGS 3066: Introduction to Internet Technology
Spring 2005

Welcome to CGS3066: Introduction to Internet Technology. This class will be a fun-filled escapade into the joys of Internet Technology. Initially, we will focus on XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), which provide the underlying structure of today's web sites. Once these are mastered, we will explore JavaScript—a client-side scripting language—which enables web site developers to greatly enhance the end user's experience. Lastly, we will touch upon many of the technologies that create the rich, multimedia web sites that web surfers have come to expect.
