- Assigment 1: Warmup: Compiling a kernel and a kernel module
- Assignment 2: Setup: Repositories and kernel tools
- Assignment 3: SORT char device, based on the scull pipe driver
- Assignment 4: Parallel driver for LED device
- Team Project (Assignment 5): A useful device driver or other kernel module | Deliverables
Each assignment is assessed in a conference with the instructor or TA, which will include a demonstration of the working code, a review of the code and documents, and oral questions about the code and tests. Print-outs of the code and documentation for each assignment is to be handed to the instructor at the start of the demonstration-interview. Students are responsible for scheduling a time to demonstrate their programs to the instructor some time near (before, or shortly after) the time the assignment is due.
